Die TEX Collection (August 2010) enthält:

2000/XP/Vista/7, basieren auf MiKTEX, TEXnicCenter als Oberfläche
und Ghostscript/GSview für die Anzeige von PostScript-Dateien.
TEX Live ist ein umfangreiches TEX-System, zur Installation auf
Festplatte oder einem portablem Medium, z.B. USB-Stick (TEX Live
kann nicht mehr direkt von dieser DVD benutzt werden), mit Binaries
für GNU/Linux (i386, x86_64, PowerPC, Alpha, Sparc), (k)FreeBSD
(i386, x86_64), NetBSD (i386), SGI Irix, IBM AIX (PowerPC), Sun
Solaris (Sparc, i386, x86_64), MS Windows 2000/ NT/ XP/ Vista/7,
Cygwin (i386) und MacOS X (PowerPC, i386).
MacTEX, ein einfach zu installierendes TEXSystem für MacOS X, das
neben einem vollständigen TEX Live weitere Programme enthält.
CTAN ist ein weltweites Netzwerk von ftp-Servern für TEX-Software.
Auf der DVD befindet sich ein kompletter Abzug des deutschen
CTAN-Knotens dante.ctan.org mit Stand vom August 2010.
The TEX Collection (August 2010) contains:
proTEXt: an easy to install TEX system for MS Windows. It is based on
MiKTeX, with additional tools: the TEXnicCenter editor front-end, and
Ghostscript/GSview for viewing PostScript and PDF files.
TEX Live: a rich TEX system that can be installed on hard disk or a
portable device like a USB stick (TEX Live cannot be run directly from
this DVD). This TEX Live system includes binaries for GNU/Linux (i386,
x86_64, PowerPC, Alpha, Sparc), (k)FreeBSD (i386, x86_64), NetBSD
(i386), SGI Irix, IBM AIX (PowerPC), Sun Solaris (Sparc, i386,
x86_64), MS Windows, Cygwin (i386), and MacOS X (PowerPC, i386).
MacTEX: an easy to install TEX system for MacOS X. It includes a full
TEX Live distribution with the addition of the TeXShop front-end and
other Mac tools.
CTAN: a snapshot of the Comprehensive TEX Archive Network, a set of
servers worldwide making TEX software publically available.
GSview is distributed under the terms of the Aladdin Free Public License
