This small book is much more than just a lecture script. The author succeeds in providing in-depth understanding of modern management concepts without using complicated, lengthy explanations. He never reflects ideologies like other books on environmental management often do. His focus lies on explaining approaches to health, safety and environmental management without preaching to the reader in any way. Although the author claims the text to be written in a straightforward way (and this book is indeed always up to the point), he writes a beautiful style that is fun to read.
