Journey Lifespan Video-Student Vers

The "Journey Through the life Span illustrates the story of human growth and development from birth to old age in nine narrated segments featuring: - Vivid footage of people of all ages from around the world (North American, Europe, Africa, Asia, South America), in their normal environments (homes, hospitals, schools, office buildings) and at major life transitions (birth, marriage, divorce, being grandparents).- More than one hour of unedited video footage for developing students' observational skills.- Interviews with prominent developmentalists, including Charles Nelson, Barbara Rogoff, Ann Peterson, and Steven Pinker, are integrated throughout to help students link research and theory to the real world.- Interviews with a number of social workers, teachers, and nurses who work with children, adults, and the aging give students direct insight into practical challenges and rewards of their vocations.
