Migration and Crime

Ecaterina Balica is Senior Researcher at the Institute of Sociology of the Romanian Academy, and Coordinator of the 'Laboratory Violence and Crime. Prevention and Mediation'. She was an expert consultant for the Ministry of Justice, the National Institute of Criminology and NGOs. Her main research interests are: migration and crime, femicide, homicide-suicides, and restorative justice. Valentina Marinescu is Professor at the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Sociology and Social Work, University of Bucharest, Romania. She teaches methods of research in communication sciences, introduction to communication and sociology of mass media. Her main research interests are communication and media studies.
