Dirk Slama is Chief Executive Officer of Shinka Technologies, a leading provider of XML-based solutions for e-business integration and Web Services enablement. He served as Systems Architect for IONA Technologies, and authored Enterprise CORBA (Prentice Hall PTR). Joachim Quantz, Shinka's Manager of Professional Services, established the firm's consulting organization, which provides training and consulting for all stages of integration with Shinka technologies. Stefan Havenstein, Shinka's Chief Architect and co-founder, provides strategic and operational direction for the architecture and design of Shinka's Business Integration Platform and other products. He formerly served as object consultant for IONA Technologies, participating in global projects for Qwest, Barings Bank, and other leading firms.
