Mr Pusskins, Sam's first hilarious book for Orchard, won the Booktrust Early Years Award for Best Pre-School Book, was also a New York Times Bestseller and was shortlisted for the V&A Illustration Award and Sheffield Book Prize. Mr Pusskins has since returned for more fun in Mr Pusskins and Little Whiskers and Mr Pusskins Best in Show. Sam's brilliant Whoops-a-Daisy World series for Orchard is proving to be a real winner with children (and adults too!), and it all started with the first story, Doctor Miaow's Big Emergency. Sam has written and illustrated a number of novelty books including Calm Down, Boris! the Richard and Judy award-winner, What Colour Are Your Knickers? for Gullane, and the Sainsbury's Books for Babies Award winner, Happy Dog, Sad Dog for Little Tiger Press. Sam lives in Brighton.
