It's only Rock 'n' Roll but we like it! Bei der 5. Rockpalast-Nacht, im Oktober 1979, glänzte und brillierte „"Southside Johnny" mit seinen „"Asbury Jukes". Vor allem ihr Song "New Romeo" war ein großßartiger Hit, den man Unkundigen noch heute empfehlen muss – Rock und Soul in einem selten kraftvollen und ohrwurmigen Gemisch.
Die Band aus New Jersey, ein echtes Rock-Flaggschiff, war auch 13 Jahre später, 1992, wieder auf der Rockpalast-Bühne zu Gast. Bei dieser Aufzeichnung aus der Live Music Hall in Köln präsentierte „Southside Johnny das Album "Better Days" zusammen mit dem genialen Musiker Little Steven als Special Guest. Ein Hammer! Let's rock!

Especially their song "New Romeo" was a great hit still recommendable to the uninitiated and is made of pure Rock and Soul in an unusually powerful and catchy mixture. In the course of this recording from the Live Music Hall in Cologne, "Southside Johnny" presented his record "Better Days" together with the ingenious Little Steven as a special guest! A mega event!
