The DVD showcases examples of intraoperative neurophysiology (ION) recordings as well as supplemental material that provide the foundation for choosing the right test and understanding the surgical challenges for effective monitoring. Video clips of continuous data recordings are also included within the cases where appropriate.

Intraoperative Neurophysiology on DVD contains three modules. The first is didactic, and provides instructional material about the various techniques used for ION, technical tips for obtaining optimal recordings, (and the interpretation of ION data. The second module presents case examples of ION data from different types of operations and using a variety of techniques, along with questions about the interpretation of the data. The examples can be accessed in random order, or the user can select a specific subset of cases if desired. A short practice quiz that enhances self-assessment and exam preparation is also included.
