Antidiabetic and antioxidant activity- Pharmacological screening The selected medicinal plants from the Indian Ayurvedic system with known hypoglycemic or antidiabetic activity, in an attempt to screen for in vitro -amylase and -glucosidase inhibitors and antioxidant activity. Extract mixture of leaves of C. dactylon, M. paniculata, and O. sanctum, T. indica, were selected for in vitro -amylase and -glucosidase inhibitors and antioxidant activity.
