Patient and Client Education

The Patient-Client Education video uses a practicing nurse in a real-world scenario to introduce a variety of patient/cline teaching principles. Topics covered include: tailoring teaching to a client's learning style, being aware of barriers to learning, the need to properly assess a client's needs, developing a plan to meet those needs, evaluating the client's understanding and finally, documentation. Approx 20 minutes.
