This volume covers all aspects of gynecologic pathology, including pathology of the vulva, vagina, cervix, uterine corpus, placenta, fallopian tube, ovary and peritoneum. It addresses the most frequently encountered tumors of the female genital tract, as well as non-tumoral diseases, in terms of their definition, clinical features, macroscopic and microscopic features, immunophenotype and additional tests to help improving their diagnosis, including molecular data for each disease. In addition, a list of differential diagnoses and illustrations of all lesions is provided.

This volume is not a traditional textbook and consequently, all content is arranged alphabetically and each entry is uniformly structured. Prepared by more than 30 internationally recognized experts, it offers an essential guide for trainees and experienced practicioners who want to expand their knowledge in the field of gynecologic pathology, which, particularly in the last few years, has changed rapidly, especially with regard to diagnostic criteria and classifications with an impact on patient management.
