Ichiro Maeda graduated from St. Marianna University School of Medicine, Japan, and served as a medical intern in the Department of Surgery at the same institution before obtaining his PhD. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Pathology at Kitasato Institute Hospital, Japan. His research focuses on pathologic features and radiologic imaging findings, cytology, digital pathology, and artificial intelligence.Shinichi Tsuchiya, MD, PhD, studied in fine detail the intracytoplasmic lumen (ICL) and associated features of breast cancer cells using an electron microscope as a graduate student at the Department of Pathology in the Nippon Medical Graduate School, Japan. Having previously worked as a pathologist at the Saitama Cancer Center and the Nagano Cancer Detection Center and as a Professor in the Department of Pathology in Nippon Medical School from 2003 to 2013, he is currently an Assistant Director at Iida Hospital in Nagano, Japan.Shinya Tajima graduated from Keio University School of Medicine, Japan, before working in Department of Pathology at the same institution. He received his PhD in Radio-Pathology from St. Marianna University Graduate School of Medicine, Japan, later working at the Department of Pathology and Radiology of this institution. He is currently serving at the National Hospital Organization Shizuoka Medical Center.
