Sediment Hydrology provides the comprehensive information required to practically understand the behavior, patterns and morphometric variations of sediment in watersheds. Additionally, the essential techniques for applied estimating, modeling, ascription and partitioning the sediment yield are evaluated and presented. Seyed Hamidreza Sadeghi is a Full Professor in the Department of Watershed Management Engineering, Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran. Sadeghi has been a faculty member of Tarbiat Modares University for 24 years. He also is president of Watershed Management Society of Iran. He has published extensively in domestic and international journals and is the Editor-in-Chief, ECOPERSIA, Manager in Charge, Iranian Journal of Ecohydrology, and author of several books focused on soil and water resources issues. His research has been cited many times by peers in the field. ResearchGate has identified over 1900 citations of the incomplete list of his publications listed with their organization. Prof. Sadeghi has presented papers, consulted with professionals/agencies, and conducted research in over 10 countries. He has been recognized numerous times by various professional groups for his contributions to the field of soil and water conservation engineering. He also had a sabbatical leave in 2017 to Texas A&M University in USA where he was proudly hosted by world known and well distinguished Prof. Vijay P. Singh.
