The Network CD-ROM provides the following features: * Synopsis for each topic, showing how the text and resources cover and follow the OCR specification including coverage of How Science Works * Introductory PowerPoint for each topic * Practical, investigation and observation worksheets * Teacher's and technician's notes for all practicals and investigations * Multimedia animations or visualisations * Video interviews with chemists, focusing on how they use chemistry in their work * Additional activities covering How Science Works * Answers to all activities, review and extension questions from the Student's Book, plus answers to practical worksheets and additional activities * Interactive progress tests * Personal Tutor presentations guiding students through sample exam questions with tips All the resources are launched from interactive pages of the Student's Book.Teachers can also search for resources by resource type or keyword to allow greater flexibility in using the resources.
A Lesson Builder allows teachers and lecturers to build lessons by dragging and dropping resources they want to use into a lesson group that can be saved to launch later from a single screen. The tools provided also enable teachers to import their own resources and weblinks into the lesson groups, and to populate a VLE at the click of a button.

Graham Hill is author of a bestselling A level chemistry textbook and numerous GCSE Chemistry and dual award textbooks. Graham taught for over 30 years and held various appointments as Head of Chemistry and Head of Science. During his teaching career, Graham held secondments as Senior Fellow to the Salter's project at the University of York and as Chairman of the ASE. Andrew Hunt is an experienced teacher, examiner and author. He has taken a leading role in the Nuffield Chemistry, Twenty First Century Science and Science in Society projects. He taught advanced chemistry courses in schools for 20 years and has written a variety of successful chemistry textbooks including an AS and A2 textbook/CD-ROM series.
