With the assistance of his brother Alois, the successful trainer Elmar Pollmann-Schweckhorst presents the current methods for training show jumpers today. The film analyses typical problems that can arise within the different stages of development, and presents solutions:

- Warm-up

In co-operation with the College for Sport in Cologne, the jump sequences were analysed with a high-speed camera (250 shots per second), providing new insights into show jumping.

Elmar Pollmann-Schweckhorst, professional riding and training instructor (Breeding and Rearing and Professional Rider of the German National Equestrian Federation), is the author of the popular book Springpferde-Ausbildung heute, published by the FN-Verlag.
