During the 1950s, a survey was made in the USA of one hundred working men aged 25.

The survey contained two questions:

The harsh reality is that 19 out of 20 of these working men have seldom if ever done any constructive thinking on how they will earn more money, or in other words, increase their income.

If a person doesn’t decide to cook tomato sauce spaghetti for dinner (goal), she will never look up the recipe (learn how to), or be able to prepare or cook (take constructive action) tomato sauce spaghetti.

Only 1 out 20 (top 5%) men have actually made it their business to earn more money. Just thinking about their goal will lead to zero. The rich took action towards their goal. They decided to become rich. They learned how to earn more money. They studied the recipes of “how” to become rich, and as a result, they made more money.

In your case:

Decide to burn body fat completely and maintain a slim physique permanently + learn how + act on what you learn = a slim physique

Since only 5% of people know what they desire (goal), all 5% can and will be winners. In this race, there aren’t even enough contestants to contend against. Even the runner who comes in last can be a winner.

What does this illustration have to do with weight loss?

Two of the most-searched topics on the internet are “how to lose weight” and “how to lose body fat.”

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of fitness and weight loss magazines, books, websites, nutritional guides, TV programs, fitness instructors, weight loss gurus, etc.

If there is so much information on weight loss, why is there so much controversy on the topic? Shouldn’t everyone at the gym or on a diet obtain the results they are after?

The answer is simple:

The weight loss community, just like the bodybuilding community, has the information incorrect or incomplete!

Think of this:

Muscle and Fitness magazine was first published in 1936 by Joe Weider. If you compare side by side a bodybuilding magazine from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000, and 2010, it will become evident that the workout instructions, nutrition facts, and diets plans are completely contrasting.

Why is the information drastically changing?

Because the bodybuilding community cannot accurately pin down once and for all what builds muscle and burns fat.

Think about what occurs inside the body to build muscle, accumulate fat or burn excess body fat.

Only a selective few have the physique they desire because the information available is incorrect or incomplete. Like most who follow the wrong crowd on autopilot without questioning or without a second thought, they will suffer the same consequences. Unfortunately, this is the plain and simple truth.

Most who carelessly follow gym instructors, trainers, overweight peers, and magazine ghost writers who do not have a clue why body fat accumulates in the first place will be led to a dead end.

You may be thinking:

Really? Are you sure?

To find out for yourself, conduct your own survey. Ask people inside and outside the gym, personal whoever else question #1.

1. What happens INSIDE the body to accumulate excess fat?

After you evaluate the ummm and the silent stare you get, ask question #2.

2. How is a slim physique maintained after excess body fat has been burnt off?

When the silence becomes too unnerving, move onto the next person.

Ask 10 - 100 - 1,000 until you are 100% convinced that nobody has the physique, or ability to keep their physique in shape, because they don’t know what builds muscle and causes body fat accumulation in the first place.
