The new look range of "Macmillan Reeds Nautical Almanacs" was launched for 2000 and incorporated navigational data with expanded coverage. They also incorporated numerous innovations and improvements as well as four colour presentation. "The Macmillian Reeds Looseleaf Almanac" is a versatile system that combines almanac and pilotage in one. This looseleaf information and reference system, bound by durable velcro-fastened binder, can be tailored to the user's needs for a cruise or for a particular voyage by removing and storing unnecessary sections and by adding relevant information from specialist sources. "The UK and Ireland Update/Pilotage Pack" covers the entire coasts of the UK, the Channel Islands and Ireland. It may be used a a complete low-cost replacement for the year 2000's looseleaf almanac for the same area, or added to the Contintental Europe edition of the Looseleaf Almanac to provide the same coverage as in the main "Macmillan Reeds Nautical Almanac".
