They also incorporated numerous innovations and improvements as well as four colour presentation. This looseleaf information and reference system, bound by durable velcro-fastened binder, can be tailored to the user's needs for a cruise or for a particular voyage by removing and storing unnecessary sections and by adding relevant information from specialist sources. "The Continental Europe Update/Pilotage Pack" covers the entire coast of mainland Europe from Skagen at the tip of Denmark to Gibraltar. It may be used a a complete low-cost replacement for the year 2000's looseleaf almanac for the same area, or added to the UK and Ireland edition of the Looseleaf Almanac to provide the same coverage as in the main "Macmillan Reeds Nautical Almanac".
