Delmar's Special Procedures

This interactive CD-ROM follows the five-step nursing process and covers over 50 nursing skills with a focus on special populations. It is developed to promote sensitivity and awareness of geriatric, pediatric, and cultural variations in nursing skills. It includes real world situations in various health care environments, including gender, age, and culture issues, that provide users with the clinical experiences they may encounter in their career. This, along with the critical thinking feature, helps users fine-tune their critical thinking skills and apply skill knowledge.
