Dr. Hangal obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Hygiene Science and Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and also has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Mysore, India. He has over twenty years experience in environmental consulting with specialization in air quality. He has been very active in providing GHG management assistance to industrial companies as well as developing sustainability program. He has also performed GHG verification for SGS Certification Services. He has been a speaker at national conferences on the topic of GHG emissions based on his experience in determination of accurate and verifiable GHG emissions for various sources.
