Dr. Francis A. Kulacki is Professor of mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. His research expertise cuts across fundamental heat transfer correlations, nuclear safety, nuclear waste storage and disposal, catalytic combustion, electro-hydrodynamic augmentation of heat/mass transfer, composite materials, and most recently, boiling of emulsions, micro-channel heat transfer, and heat and mass transfer in frost. He has published over 150 articles and technical reports, presented 200 seminars and invited lectures, and has served as department chair at Delaware, dean of engineering at Colorado State, and dean of the Institute of Technology at the University of Minnesota.
