Burnout kann jeden von uns treffen: So tun Sie etwas dagegen!
Being successful seems to be the new measure of everything. In such a world no one wants to be on the sidelines, and so we all do everything in our power to be and remain successful. Also, the breadth of our choices and the number of decisions we have to make today have increased exponentially. The result is ever more stress, more indecision, more fear of failure - we are in danger of burnout and in some cases even true depression.Meeting these challenges means working on one´s approach. The goal is not to try to fulfil the wishes of others, but to be aware of one´s own needs. It should become clear that success is not when others are doing well, but when I feel good about myself - when I thrive. The self-management program presented in this volume shows the reader how to keep a solid feeling for reality, how to see interactions with others as the context for our thoughts, feelings and actions. And how to discover the manifold ways in which we can approach situations, to choose from the various alternatives, and to do what is realistically possible. Over 100 different suggestions are provided on how to live a life without burnout.
