He is also Founder and Managing Director of Strategy To Reach Empower & Educate Teenagers (STREET) UK Ltd. Between 1994 and 2009, he was Chairman of the Brixton Mosque in London, UK. He is widely acknowledged as an authority on processes relating to violent extremism and counter-radicalization in the UK.
