Helen M Stevens is the bestselling author of 12 previous books, including The Embroiderer's Countryside (David & Charles). She is well-known internationally for her beautiful depictions of flowers and wildlife, which she was taught to love by her father, a 'true countryman'. Helen has exhibited widely, both in one woman exhibitions at a variety of venues and with the Society of Women Artists, initially at the Westminster Gallery and more recently the Mall Galleries in London.
