National Railway Museum Diary

The National Railway Museum in York is the largest of its kind in the world and home to a wide range of railway icons - from the world's fastest steam engine to a lock of Robert Stephenson's hair - and a vast collection of locomotives and engines. The museum also has an exceptional collection of about 8,000 historic railway posters designed to be displayed in waiting rooms, booking offices and on railway platforms. Many of the posters were commissioned from well-known contemporary artists and their vibrant, bold designs still appear fresh and modern to this day. Each week has a full-page colour illustration and the diary includes national and religious holidays and astronomical information.
