New day, new out-of-this-world fact! 365 Facts from Space delivers a stellar space story for armchair astronomers each and every day.
This stellar calendar delivers a new, out-of-this-world space fact each and every day!
From the sun’s super-hot core to the many moons of Neptune, we’ve travelled to the far reaches of our solar system and beyond to collect hundreds of incredibly interesting space facts. 365 Facts from Space! launches into an exciting adventure on everything outside our atmosphere. Each day you will learn something new, such as:
-Jupiter’s moon Io is in the process of turning itself inside out. The volcanic satellite has daily eruptions that cause large pools of lava to constantly re-coat its surface.
-While in orbit, early space missions used to eject waste. Astronauts’ pee would freeze and create intricate ice formations floating through space.
-Deneb is the farthest star you can see with the naked eye, at an amazing 3,000 light years away (or about seventeen quadrillion miles).
-And many more!
Packed with interesting information about our galaxy, this calendar is a fun and fascinating way for sci-fi fans and at-home astronomers to start their day!
