Jesus came to set the world free with TWO BASIC TRUTHS:
1. That his Father-not the Yahweh of the Jews or any other gods-is the 'One True God';
2.That he-Jesus-is 'the Messiah' sent by his Father to bring the fullness of life to the world.
But then came the Apostle Paul and concocted his own 'Gospel of Salvation' that practically turned Jesus and his true Mission for the world upside down.
Unfortunately, the world falls for his Gospel. And the world suffers.
The Apostle Paul is the most destructive force that has ever fallen upon Jesus and his true Mission for the world. The earlier we can resurrect Jesus from the Gospel of Paul, the better for the life of the world.
Behold in this book how 'Paul's gospel destroyed Jesus.'
Amen.

1. Paul is a Jew, born in Cilicia; once a blasphemer and a former persecutor of Christians and a violent man; his name then was Saul.

“Brothers and fathers, listen now to my defense.”

When they heard him speak to them in Aramaic, they became very quiet.

Then Paul said: “I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city. I studied under Gamaliel and was thoroughly trained in the law of our ancestors. I was just as zealous for God as any of you are today.  I persecuted the followers of this Way to their death, arresting both men and women and throwing them into prison, as the high priest and all the Council can themselves testify. I even obtained letters from them to their associates in Damascus, and went there to bring these people as prisoners to Jerusalem to be punished.  – [Acts 22:1-5 NIV]

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.  – [1Timothy 1:12-14 NIV]

2. He is an Israelite, a Hebrew, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin; a minister of Christ; circumcised.

I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.  – [Romans 11:1 NIV]

Are they Hebrews? So am I.  Are they Israelites? So am I.  Are they Abraham’s descendants? So am I.  Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.)  I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again. – [2 Corinthians 11:22-23 NIV]

If someone else thinks they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more: circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee; as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for righteousness based on the law, faultless.  – [Philippians 3:4-6 NIV]

3.  He is a Pharisee, son of a Pharisee, lived as a Pharisee, and legalistic.

Then Paul, knowing that some of them were Sadducees and the others Pharisees, called out in the Sanhedrin, “My brothers, I am a Pharisee, descended from Pharisees.”  —[Acts 23:6 NIV]

“The Jewish people all know the way I have lived ever since I was a child, from the beginning of my life in my own country, and also in Jerusalem. They have known me for a long time and can testify, if they are willing, that I conformed to the strictest sect of our religion, living as a Pharisee.  – [Acts 26:4-5 NIV]

4. He is a Roman citizen by birth.

As they stretched him out to flog him, Paul said to the centurion standing there, “Is it legal for you to flog a Roman citizen who hasn’t even been found guilty?”

When the centurion heard this, he went to the commander and reported it. “What are you going to do?” he asked. “This man is a Roman citizen.”

The commander went to Paul and asked, “Tell me, are you a Roman citizen?”

“Yes, I am,” he answered.

Then the commander said, “I had to pay a lot of money for my citizenship.”

“But I was born a citizen,” Paul replied.

Those who were about to interrogate him withdrew immediately. The commander himself was alarmed when he realized that he had put Paul, a Roman citizen, in chains.  – [Acts 22:25-29 NIV]

5.  As a Jew, Paul is steeped in the teachings of Judaism which is the religion he was raised in before he became an apostle of Christ.

For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it.  I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers. – [Galatians 1:13-14 NIV]

6.  As a Jew, he worships Yahweh of Moses, but at the same time is a follower of the ‘Way’ that believes in the resurrection of the dead.

However, I admit that I worship the God of our ancestors as a follower of the Way, which they call a sect. I believe everything that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the Prophets, and I have the same hope in God as these men themselves have, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. So I strive always to keep my conscience clear before God and man.  – [Acts 24:14-16 NIV]

“I stand on trial because of the hope of the resurrection of the dead.” – [Acts 23:6 NIV]

And now it is because of my hope in what God has promised our ancestors that I am on trial today. This is the promise our twelve tribes are hoping to see fulfilled as they earnestly serve God day and night.  King Agrippa, it is because of this hope that these Jews are accusing me.Why should any of you consider it incredible that God raises the dead?  —[Acts 26:6-8 NIV]

7.  He became a preacher, an apostle and, according to him, God made him “teacher of the nations regarding faith and truth.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles.  – [1Timothy 2:1-7 NIV]

8.  Paul exalts himself so highly as “the chosen” preacher of God’s gospel that he is already overshadowing Peter and the rest of the apostles, not to mention Jesus himself.  Paul regards himself as “an apostle from heaven,”  the one called and set apart to preach God’s good news, and the one who seems to be doing all the work of saving people—seemingly to the discredit of all the other apostles who have given up their very own lives for the preaching of the Gospel.

Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God.  – [Romans 1:1 NIV]

Paul, an apostle—sent not from men nor by a man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead.  – [Galatians 1:1 NIV]

May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.  – [Galatians 6:14 NIV]

So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.  And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher.  – [2 Timothy 1:8-11 NIV]

9.  Paul makes it appear that it was he who made the promise of eternal life known to the world—not Jesus Christ.

Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness—in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time, and which now at his appointed season he has brought to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior,—[Titus 1:2-3 NIV]

10. Paul is so egotistic that he sometimes forgets to give glory to where the glory is due.

Then I went to Syria and Cilicia.  I was personally unknown to the churches of Judea that are in Christ. They only heard the report: “The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.” AND THEY PRAISED GOD BECAUSE OF ME.  – [Galatians 1:21-24 NIV]

11. Only God, through his Son Jesus, is the “perfect model” for all Christians to follow and imitate—not Paul or anyone else, no matter how holy and...
