The language of the book is simple and lucid, interspersed with well-placed humor that makes it an interesting read. No medical and technical jargon has been used in the book, which lets one understand and enjoy the practical issues and challenges faced by a forensic expert in the country. The world of forensic medicine at different levels, from students point of view and then later the dilemmas in conducting autopsy and the skill in handling court evidences, have been shared by the author who experienced it first hand over a period of about twenty-four years. The infrastructure and the interaction with police and courts all form a unique world distinct from other countries. The flow in the book holds the reader and compels to be read in one go.
