Understanding Cryotherapy discusses the effect of cryosauna geometric data on the effectiveness of the cryotherapy process. Cryotherapy or whole-body cryotherapy is a highly effective, non-drug treatment technology. Whole-body cryotherapy is used in the treatment and prevention of several diseases due to its general effect on the immune and endocrine system. This compilation also provides a numerical analysis of the effect of simulated clothing made of various materials on cryogenic gas exposure, and also discusses local changes in heat flow and temperature curve along the skin of a whole-body cryotherapy object. In reviewing the recent literature and comparing this to the current standard of care, the concluding chatper elucidates current gaps in knowledge and proposes novel areas of investigation to expand the horizons of cryotherapy utilization.
