JANICE COOK KNIGHT, former head chef of the Follow Your Heart restaurant, is a writer and cooking teacher. She has worked for Bon Appetit magazine and teaches through Santa Barbara City College's Adult Education program. She writes for the Santa Barbara Independent and is also the author of Follow Your Heart's Vegetarian Soup Cookbook.
